Information I collect

Information you choose to share. If you email me, I receive your name, email address, and anything you include in your message. If you sign up for my Friday newsletter, you do that on a signup page hosted by Kit, my email provider, which collects your name and email address.

Information collected automatically. This site is hosted by Squarespace, which uses cookies and similar technology to collect basic visitor information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, and the site that referred you. I look at this information in aggregate to understand how people use the site.

How I use information

I use this information to reply to your messages, send the newsletter you signed up for, and improve this site. I do not sell your personal information.

Who I share it with

I share information only with the service providers that help run this site and my newsletter: Squarespace (website hosting and analytics) and Kit (email newsletter). Each one handles your information under its own privacy policy. I may also share information if the law requires it.

Some links on this site, including links to my cookbooks on Amazon, are affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. When you click an affiliate link, the retailer may use cookies to track the referral.

This site links to my other websites and to third-party sites. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and I am not responsible for their practices.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from my newsletter at any time using the link at the bottom of any email. You can also set your browser to refuse cookies. To ask what information I have about you, or to ask me to correct or delete it, email hello@plantbasedonabudget.com.

Do Not Track

This site does not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If I update this policy, I will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
